Just spent a freezing cold day in the marina boatyard, cleaning and polishing Brighton Belle's topsides. I'd taken over from Paul who'd arrived much earlier than me, and done some great work on the port forward section. It was about 5

Tomorrow should be better, as the gale will have abated and the sun will be shining.

Sunday 22 November. A much nicer day, with glorious bright sunshine. I even got warm enough to remove the two coats I'd set out in. David W was the early bird this morning, busy replacing panels in the nav station and aft cabin. New member Mike turned up soon after, and set to work cleaning the coachroof and cockpit.

I took the buffing hood for the electric polisher home today for a wash'n'dry, as it was getting clogged with polish.
